These papers must include the following sections:
- Introduction: purpose, relevance of the study and the objective of the study.
- Methods: description of how the research was conducted, including study design, participants, variables, and analysis of results.
- Results: The main results of the study must be specified, which must address the study objectives.
- Conclusions: should be the answers to the study’s hypotheses.
Research protocols or projects
B) Research protocols or projects that are currently underway or have not yet been initiated. These projects must include the following sections:
- Introduction: Relevance of the study and identification of knowledge gaps that this project will add to the current evidence.
- Hypothesis: derived from previous evidence, statement about what is expected to be found after the project is completed.
- Objectives: purpose of the research project. Remember that they must begin with an infinitive verb.
- Methods: brief, clear and complete description of the study population, sample, sample size, subjects, variables and theoretical statistical analysis.
- Limitations and strengths.
- Implications for clinical practice of achieving the project objectives.
- Financing
Presentation of research groups
C) Presentation of research groups recognized by an institution or organization. These works must include the following sections:
- Name of the research group
- Name and profession of the person leading the group
- Number of members and professional profile:
- Reference institution and type of recognition (emerging / consolidated / recognized by…)
- Mission, vision and/or objectives of the group
- Main lines of research
- Achievements
Design and manufacture of products, devices or adaptations
D) Design and manufacture of products, devices, or adaptations that improve people’s participation, autonomy, occupational performance, or quality of life. Applicability, innovation, and an occupation-centered approach will be especially valued.
- Product Description (What is it? Who is it for?)
- Objective and identified need (What problem or barrier does it address?)
- Design and/or manufacturing process (materials, phases, user participation, etc.)
- Results obtained or expected (in case of pilot test, user experience, etc.)
- Practical implications and transfer possibilities
Dissemination and/or transfer work
E) Dissemination and/or transfer work is work aimed at bringing the knowledge generated around occupation—in its multiple dimensions—from the academic or professional sphere to society, other professionals, or clinical practice, using accessible, creative formats with a real impact on the understanding, visibility, and application of occupation as an axis of health, well-being, and participation.
- Context and justification. What need motivated this proposed disclosure or transfer? Why is it relevant?
- Objectives. What was intended to be achieved with the presented strategy.
- Outreach or transfer strategy used. Clear description: format (podcast, social media, informative article, video, infographic, etc.), target audience, channels used, frequency, etc.
- Results or impacts achieved (if applicable). Scope (views, downloads, comments, clinical use, etc.), lessons learned, feedback received.
- Conclusions and recommendations. Final reflection: What worked? What could be improved? What other people could replicate or adapt this experience?
