The city is renowned for its impressive Palmeral, a vast group of palm trees declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. <\/p>\n Another of its cultural treasures is the Mystery of Elche, a sacred-lyrical drama that recreates the Dormition, Assumption, and Coronation of the Virgin Mary. This modern building, covering almost 5,000 square meters, integrates cultural and academic spaces. It houses the Culture Unit and the Doctoral School, and includes several exhibition halls and a film library, aimed at both the university community and the general public. <\/p>\n The building also offers multipurpose spaces for training and postgraduate courses, as well as for scientific outreach activities, conferences, and meetings. It also has a lecture hall for doctoral theses, located next to the Doctoral School. It also has accessible terraces, designed for both exhibitions and outdoor training.
